This October marks another year celebrating National Principals Month, which means another year of amazing dance moves and lip syncing from our video contest entries.
To celebrate National Principals Month, we are encouraging principals and advisers to get their students involved in creating a video that speaks to all the great things their principal does for the school and community. To enter the contest, schools will need to submit a one- to two-minute video of students giving “props” to their principal and sharing what makes him/her special. The best videos are the ones that get creative; no idea is too small! Click here to see submissions from past winners for some inspiration.
One winner will be chosen from the high school level, junior high level, and the elementary level. Winners will receive a $200 Best Buy gift card for their school, as well as bragging rights that their principal is the best out there. We will also be sharing the winners’ videos on YouTube—just think, your school could have the viral video of the year!
You can view the official contest rules here and videos can be submitted online here. Don’t forget to share your videos on social media as well, using the hashtag #ThankAPrincipal. The due date for submissions is October 28, 2016, so get taping!
