Statistics in Schools Resources Support Census Data

The 2020 census is just around the corner. An accurate count of all the people in your school district will help determine distribution of federal funding for programs such as Title I, IDEA, teacher training, technology, and after-school programs. The U.S. Census Bureau has released the Statistics in Schools (SIS) resources to assist you during the 2019–20 school year with activities and census data to create classroom materials for grades K–12 that will highlight the importance of making sure everyone is counted.
